The XIII Kazakhstan International Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Safety and Industrial Safety KIOSH 2025 is taking place in Astana.
Chairman of the Presidium of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan«PARYZ» Zhumabek Zhanykulovtook part in key events of the forum, including a visit to the exhibition, where the latest technologies and solutions in the field of occupational safety and industrial safety were presented.
The strategic plenary session on «The Future of Occupational Safety and Industrial Safety: strategies, trends and Innovative Solutions» was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Svetlana Zhakupova, representatives of the International Labor Organization and the International Association of Labor Inspectors, central government agencies, employers' associations and associations of workers, organizations of higher and professional education, international experts from Australia, Great Britain, the Russian Federation, Armenia and other countries.
In his welcoming speech, Yermek Kosherbayev noted that cooperation between government agencies, employers, and employees is important to ensure safe work, and today's session is an open platform for dialogue.
«Occupational safety is about life, health, and the well-being of every individual. It is essential here to hear from employers and employees, those who face real problems daily, and understand which solutions work. Reports are one thing, but practice is quite another. Only by working closely together will we be able to build a truly modern and safe work environment,» he said.
Zhumabek Zhanykulov was also among the participants in the discussion about the future of the industry, the challenges of digital transformation, and the role of employers in ensuring safe working conditions.
He stressed that the Concept of safe work is an important document, in the development of which «PARYZ» was involved from the very beginning, where the basis is risk assessment and reduction, a culture of prevention, training, consultations, and information openness.
«Businesses should participate in the development of solutions, from methodologies to quality control. It is necessary to treat the employer not as a source of risk, but as a source of solutions. No business is interested in injuries or their employees suffering. On the contrary, they invest in this business to develop. I urge all businessmen to be more active. Right now, we are in close contact with the Government and the trade union to work out a solution to this issue,» Zhumabek Zhanykulov summed up.
The participation of the NCE «PARYZ» " in KIOSH-2025 confirms the desire to actively participate in the development of the national occupational safety system, the formation of a modern safety culture, and the support of innovative initiatives in the interests of employers and employees.
