WORK EXPERIENCE:
Aidos Abikhanov graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting (KIMEP), Master's degree from the University of Essex (UK, Master of Science in Economics, MSc).
He has held various senior positions in a number of government organizations and departments, as well as in quasi-public sector companies. In particular, he worked as deputy head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Industrial and Innovative development and Tourism, as well as the Department of Agriculture of the South Kazakhstan region.
In 2017, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For 2 years, from 2017 to 2019, he worked at JSC NC KAZAKH INVEST, holding the position of Managing Director and then Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. Since 2019, he has worked in the private sector – from 2019 to 2021, he headed YDD Corporation and from 2021 to 2022, Primus Capital
