November 23-26 the International Investment Forum is held in Turkestan with the participation of approximately 300 companies and prominent government officials, domestic and foreign businessmen. The event aims to promote the region's investment and tourism potential, attract investment for economic diversification and strengthen business ties with leading foreign companies.
During speech at the plenary session of the Forum on the topic «Turkestan – the driver of the new investment cycle of Kazakhstan» Chairman of the Presidium of the Confederation «PARYZ», Zhumabek Zhanykulov, spoke about the Confederation's activities and noted that the country's investment climate depends on the quality of a well-established «state-employee-employer» system. In turn, the Turkestan region is one of the most successful regions, and the Confederation plans to open a social dialogue center in the region as an entry point for investors.
The event was moderated by Timur Nakhipbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Confederation «PARYZ».
In total, 7 memorandums worth 432.2 billion tenge have been signed during the event. A pool of 111 investment projects has been formed in the region, with implementation scheduled for 2025-2028. If fully implemented, the projects are expected to create approximately 24 thousands new jobs.
