Representatives of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan “PARYZ” Participated in the Construction Forum of the Caucasus and Central Asian Countries

The Construction Forum of the Caucasus and Central Asian countries officially began its work today, bringing together representatives of government agencies, businesses, industry associations, and international organizations to discuss the prospects for the development of the construction sector in the region.

The forum is organized by the Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants in cooperation with the Georgian Association of Consulting Engineers, Hogan Lovells, and Intelligent Solution LLC, with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan “PARYZ” took part in the forum, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the state, business, and the professional community in ensuring the sustainable development of the construction sector.

More than 300 delegates from over 10 countries are participating in the event. The two-day program includes nine panel discussions devoted to infrastructure, finance, contracts (including FIDIC standards), project management, certification, and professional education.

Key discussion topics include:
• digitalization and the implementation of innovations in the construction sector;
• development of green construction and energy-efficient technologies;
• modernization of infrastructure and the housing stock;
• training of qualified specialists;
• investment and public-private partnership mechanisms.

Special attention will be given to the unification of construction norms and technical standards, as well as the harmonization of legal and regulatory frameworks among countries of the region.

At the conclusion of the forum, a number of cooperation agreements are expected to be signed, including memoranda between industry associations and construction companies of the participating countries. The creation of a Regional Council on Construction and Infrastructure has also been announced. Its task will be to coordinate joint initiatives and develop recommendations for shaping effective construction policies.
